    Caribsea A.R.M reactor media is ready to use and does not need pre rinsing.
    It contains calcium, carbonate and various other beneficial elements, and has a huge surface area that is almost twice as large as similar products. It also has almost 50 times more strontium than other brands, making it a superior product for both performance and quality.

Description

This text contains the following elements (in ppm): Calcium (416000), Carbonate (577000), Strontium (3300), Magnesium (1400), and Potassium (56). It weighs about 70 pounds per cubic foot. Calcium reactors have different types that need different media sizes. ARM Coarse is suitable for rapid up flow type reactors. This grade of ARM prevents clogging and maintenance issues that fine media and these reactors cause. A.R.M has low levels of phosphates and silica, and it does not have gastropod shells, so it does not add any unwanted elements.
