  • This is a hang-on protein skimmer designed for tanks with a capacity of 100 L to 120 L. It has a powerful venturi pump with an energy-saving needle-wheel, the Rock SP-600. The pump consumes 8.5 watts and can work with both 110/220V. The approximate dimensions of the skimmer are 145 x 110 x 265 mm (L*W*H). It can be attached to aquariums with a thickness of up to 12 mm. The Rock SP-600 impeller pump is also included. The skimmer has a silent design and low power consumption. It comes with a waste check valve pipe that helps to remove the harmful waste from the water. Please note that the actual unit has an inbuilt pump and all the accessories, but it does not come with a paper box or a wrapper pack.

Description

The Bubble Magus QQ1 is a new model of skimmer that was released in 2015. It has a different structure that allows it to hang on the rear wall of the aquarium (up to 12mm thickness), instead of being placed fully inside the water. This makes it similar to hang-on filters. The QQ1 uses a powerful pump (Rock SP-600) that produces a large amount of bubbles in the skimmer body. These bubbles capture and remove unwanted compounds from the water and collect them in a cup that can be easily emptied. The QQ1 skimmers are designed for Nano tanks with a maximum volume of 100 liters.
